"My son and I stopped here today for lunch at his request. He was craving some 'American Chinese food' and boba....and I'm *always* down for some Asian. The young man at the counter was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the difference between the boxes and the bowls to my son, helped him figure out what type of boba drink he wanted, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. The ambiance is cute! The space is small, but well-used - as well as clean, bright, and cheery with pops of color all around. It's a fast casual style restaurant, which I hadn't realized before we arrived- but they pull it off well. We ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box, orange chicken bento box, and thai iced tea with boba. The food came out surprisingly quickly, and I was shocked at how good it was! Really, everything was SO delicious, perfectly seasoned, and the macaron was a yummy little cherry on top. Prices were high IMO, but I'm gathering that about this city in general- so not unexpected or unusual for the area. My son commented on the way out that this was the best boba he's ever had. We would definitely come back!"

"Boba was nice, lots of fun flavors to choose! I cannot say enough good things about the food! The bento boxes are amazing portions sizes and packed full of food. So so flavorful! The popcorn chicken tasted amazing and was some of the best i’ve had. Definitely my fav food spot in sedona!"

"We heard that Sono Kitchen has the best popcorn chicken, really close to the ones in Taiwan. We were a bit skeptical, so of course, we had to try it ourselves. Sono is in Uptown Sedona, and you can't miss it, the sign is huge! Parking can be a little tricky around there, but they do have free parking lots, which is nice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Besides the popcorn chicken, their menu has bento boxes, rice and noodles, drinks, and boba. We got the popcorn chicken, Jasmine Green Tea, and Dragon Eyes. The popcorn chicken was amazing, really lived up to the hype. The drinks were okay, and the boba was a little too chewy for us. Turns out they also have locations in Flagstaff and Gilbert, so since we're heading north, we might stop by the Flagstaff one too. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving some good Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken!"

"I recently ordered takeout from this cute little spot, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I went with the udon soup—while it wasn’t the most flavorful I’ve had, it was OK for what I was craving at the time. One important note: I don’t eat shellfish or seafood, and the soup unexpectedly contained shrimp, which was not listed in the item description on the menu—or even on their online menu. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this until I had already brought it home. It wasn’t a huge deal (the dog enjoyed it), but if you have dietary restrictions or allergies, it’s definitely something to be aware of. The chicken and other ingredients were nicely done, and overall the dish was decent. My order did take about 20 minutes, even though there were only two of us ordering at the time, so be mindful there may be a bit of a wait even though it presents as a quick, street food-style spot. That said, the place has charm, and I’d be open to trying other items on the menu in the future."

The ability to sit outside and enjoy our meal was a bonus, and the staff's system of calling out order numbers ensured a seamless experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit! "Quick stop, big flavor! We made a snack stop at Sono Kitchen and it did not disappoint. Got the Pop’n Bo (popcorn chicken + boba combo), and wow—so much flavor packed into every bite and sip. Super fresh, perfectly crispy, and the boba was on point. Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area!"
